Edmond Harary, ceo
Edmond Harary is the CEO of Gina Group for the last 35+ years. As CEO, Edmond is responsible for overseeing the entire business from operations, to finances, and more. Edmond is a firm believer in balancing the micro with the macro, and is therefore able to successfully navigate through business challenges. He prides himself on his ability to manage correctly, and bring balance to everything that he does. Edmond brings immense value to every team that he is a part of, and his ability to diversify and change with the times makes him a great asset.
Edmond graduated from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in 1986 after studying international business and marketing. Edmond enjoys reading, exercising, giving back to his community, and spending time with family.
Raymond Dayan, president
Raymond Dayan has been a key player at Gina Group for over 30 years. As President, he oversees all company divisions, is the leader of growth and development opportunities, and makes sure every part of the business runs smoothly. He is an integral member of every team and company that he is a part of. He has never lost sight of what’s necessary to succeed – that is, having good teams behind him to move any project forward. He is a believer in “There is no I in team,” and always strives to be a team player. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and loves to give back to society and families in need.
Jack j. Gindi, EVP/CMO
Jack J. Gindi is the EVP and CMO at Gina Group. He started working at Gina while still in college, and now oversees brand and business acquisitions, strategic planning, and general marketing. During his over 30 years at Gina, he has worked with some of the leading importers, business owners, brand managers and retailers in the world. Jack earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Consumer Behavior and Market Research from Bernard Baruch College. He is a loving husband and devoted father of five. Jack is an avid athlete and passionate Zionist who is deeply involved with public affairs and several charitable causes.
Our Origin Story
Joseph Harary entered the fashion business in 1985 with grit and determination. At 62 years young, he went out on a limb, took a risk and invested everything he had into Gina Hosiery. Along with his son, Edmond Harary, they set out to build a business that would one day be an authority in the wholesale fashion industry; leading the way in trends and technology, while providing a tailor made customer service experience for everyone they partnered with.
Gina, once known for selling only affordable, budget-friendly products, was expanding to all channels of the retail market while acquiring higher end brands and offering a wide selection of products.
Gina has evolved tremendously over time, becoming a product destination, while retaining the same customer care experience that defined Gina from the outset. With 9 divisions and 25 brands we continue to grow and gain credibility in the industry. We are excited about our future growth while being determined to remain true to our values; having a compassionate heart, with a business sense. Being honest and reliable, always willing to go above and beyond. Creatively innovating, always being curious and looking for ways to make products and systems better. And collaborating with clients, always offering the best that we have without reservation.
